I see a lot of these old home places. I wonder if there are so many memories there that the people who own them can't bear to have them torn down.
If those walls could talk! I've often wondered the same thing of why they don't get torn down.
The people are probably long gone and whoever owns the property lives far far away.I love to think about what life was like there in days gone by.....
I am sure glad they don't get torn down, though! this is a great photo.
I can just see the rocking chair on that porch
This is what I imagine when I think of the old places in the Appalachians. ;-)
