This is a shot of the other 5 acres across the highway from my parents property - The state decided to build a new highway and it just happened to cut through their land. This happened several years ago, but still a touchy subject w/ my mom.
That's an angry looking sky you got going on there!
I'm hearing that Jethro Tull song "Farm on the Freeway" listening to you tell the story of it. Hopefully they got a healthy nickel out of the deal at least. Not what it was worth to them I'm sure, but something.
I can understand why that would be touchy! A crying shame too.
