I really enjoy these B&W photos! Are these captured in B&W or edited to such? I don't mean this to be a silly question, I'm just new to the digital world!
Thanks everyone for the comments on the Rose. Parker, I can't speak for all of the contributors to this blog, but I capture my images in full color and use the RAW format. Once captured I convert to B&W using Photoshop Elements often with the help of a plug-in called Silver Efex Pro. I my opinion You get a much better B&W version by converting to B&W rather than capturing in camera as monochrome.

Very nicely done. I don't usually think of a rose as something for black-and-white, but this is exquisite.
I agree...exquisite is the word!
WOW!!
