@William...Mono Lake is one of the oldest lakes in North America...2 1/2 times the saline as the ocean as there's no outlet...fresh water meets saline water, poof! Tufa's are created! Drought and water drain from LA Water...and the Tufas are out and looking like strange islands!

@Jeanna...Nessie or her equivalent might have a tough time in Mono Lake...2 1/2 times the salt in the ocean!!!
