Having a site that you own is powerful.
If you do want to put this work on a Facebook page I strongly recommend that you continue to do your original work on your OWN site and have the posts automatically cross posted to your Facebook page.

Personally, I would really hate to see it go. If I had the time, I'd take it over. I wonder if anyone here would be willing to do that?
Facebook is a very bad idea, is so common, your actual blog looks original and that is rare! Steve idea is perfect!
Yes would anyone else like to take it over??? I think it needs more care than I give it.
I don't want to do the facebook cross posting bit. It will be blog or nothing. If someone else took it over it would be theirs to do what they want with. It needs more members and maybe some taken off who don't post. That is the only way I've been able to keep it going but few are asking to join any more.
Dear Dot, why closing this blog? you can create a profile in Facebook and add a Facebook button in this blog, you can share the blog posts in Facebook, don't you? Two tools doing the same.
